Grand Harbour Marina is seeking a talented Social Media & Content Creator to develop and enhance our online presence across multiple platforms. This is a hands-on, creative role for someone who can capture the essence of our marina lifestyle and showcase why Grand Harbour Marina is the most vibrant and welcoming marina in the Mediterranean.

About the Role
As our Social Media & Content Creator, you will be the voice and creative eye of Grand Harbour Marina across our social media channels. You’ll create original text, photography, and video content, manage posts, and engage with our audience to drive berth enquiries, boost brand visibility, and highlight our vibrant community.

Working closely with our Marina General Manager in Malta and Marketing & Communications Manager in London, you will design and implement engaging campaigns, ensure brand consistency, and keep our followers connected to the marina’s lifestyle, events, services, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and publish engaging content (text, images, video, reels) at least 4 times a week, tailored to seasonality, weather, and events.
• Develop and deliver a social media strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Prepare monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.
• Manage and grow our presence on:
  • Facebook – 4 posts/week
  • Instagram – 4 posts/week or 2 reels/week
  • LinkedIn – Set up and manage account (if appropriate)
  • TikTok – 4 posts/week
• Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and monitor online reviews.
• Collaborate with marina, sales, and marketing teams for cross-channel campaigns.
• Content for website news and newsletters
• Keep up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices.
• Suggest and implement promotions, competitions, and creative initiatives to boost awareness locally and internationally.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
• Skilled in content creation – photography, videography, and editing.
• Strong copywriting ability with an engaging, on-brand tone.
• Proficient in content management tools and basic SEO principles.
• Knowledge of Google Analytics and online marketing strategies.
• Good understanding of brand identity and visual consistency.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and multitasking skills.
• Based in or near Grand Harbour Marina, Malta.
• Degree in Marketing or related field is preferred but not essential.
